BACKGROUND + PERSONALITY (ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY):

WISH: Her, Scott, Lydia and Argent getting out of the Armory safely, and maybe a little help with dealing with this whole hunter sitch, if the administration doesn’t mind.

FIT:

Malia is incredibly sex positive and a healthy attitude towards physical intimacy. She likes getting physical and has been shown in canon as the initiator a lot of the time when it comes to physical affection. In a lot of ways, physical affection is easier for her than emotional intimacy – she spent a lot of her formative years as a coyote so her ability to express herself emotionally is stunted, but she’s learning quickly and is capable of both once she’s grown close enough to the person in question.

While she isn’t the most altruistic person in the universe, she has spent the last year and a half trying to essentially save Beacon Hills from itself. Good deeds are not going to be her go-to, necessarily, for fulfilling her quota, but Malia bears no ill will towards anyone who hasn’t personally wronged her, but she does like helping people and she doesn’t like seeing other people get hurt. If given enough incentive, she would try and do more to help! She just needs to be properly motivated.

CONSENT:

While to most people Malia can seem a bit like a steamroller, consent is very important to her. Learning to draw her own boundaries and respecting those of other people’s was one of the first things she learns after she became human again. Through her time both in Eichen House and her early relationship with Stiles, she mastered the idea of no means no and yes means yes. She generally only steps across those lines without asking when there’s already an established relationship between them and would always stop if she was told to stop.

In terms of violence, however, Malia is instinctive and the human equivalent of (ง'̀-‘́)ง – she’d be the first to admit that her first instinct tends to be to violence, but tends not to pick a fight without being provoked first and is trying hard to move forward from the killer that she feels she is. The only deaths she’s caused in canon were indirectly a result of her first shift, before she realized what she was, and for maximum trauma was her mother and little sister. It’s guilt she’s never fully managed to move on from, and has worked very hard to be better and be worthy of Scott’s pack. That won’t be changing in Cadelle and she will be very careful not to pick a fight with someone who hasn’t picked a fight with her first.

POWERS/ABILITIES:

Enhanced senses, also being skilled at manipulating them – example: Malia can use her enhanced hearing to listen to someone’s heartbeat and tell whether or not they’re lying. It’s not a foolproof system because some people are awesome liars and can monitor their heartbeat, but it’s worked pretty well for her thus far. She can also smell pheromones and pick up on when someone is feeling intense emotions like stress or sadness, and she can sense when someone is about to have a seizure.

Enhanced strength and speed.

Healing – they can heal almost instantaneously from any wound, provided that the item in question is removed (if they’re stabbed) or there isn’t wolfsbane involved. Inducing physical trauma can trigger the healing for things like paralytics and other non-fatal toxins.

They can also temporarily take another person or animal’s pain onto themselves. It’s actually really sweet and can only really be done in small doses – if they take too much it can kill them.

Shifting – Malia has two shifting forms – one, the standard TW beta form with claws and teeth and general gremlin appearance, and two - an actual legit coyote. Isn’t she pretty?

HUMANIZATION: N/A? Malia spends most of her time human, but can control her ability to shift between human and coyote. SHE WOULD PREFER THAT NOT BE TAKEN FROM HER since she just got it back, but it’s not like she’s going to be seducing anyone with her coyote tail.
